Utah Home Educators Association (UHEA) – Adding Guitar in the Home Education Curriculum

Guitar instruction can be the perfect fit for the home school curriculum. With the right approach, the home schooling parents and their children will find learning guitar exciting and easy to grasp. Noted music educator, Mike Christiansen, has developed unique material that will greatly assist the parent that is teaching guitar. Topics include:

  • Teaching sequential technique and curriculum.
  • Repertoire.
  • Implementing guitar ensembles.
  • Integrating blended learning and layered learning.
  • Teaching a variety of class sizes and ages.

Whether you are new to teaching guitar, or a seasoned instructor, there will be something here for you.
